United States: 1890s? A charming handwritten program for "An Evening with Mother Goose", with illustration of Jack jumping over the candle stick. The program includes two tableaus (Mother Goose's Visit and the Old Maids), and what seems like a performance "Peak Sisters. Mother Goose's Dream". Perhaps a fun handmade program made by children for their parents to attend their living room performance of nursery rhyme stories. Ink on card measuring approx. 4.5" by 3.5" Very good. Light toning, staining.
