Although there are many advertising pieces die-cut in shapes during this period, there are only a small number that depict the actual product they are advertising.

Cambridge, New York: S. Fuller, 1880s. A die-cut advertising card for Dr. Warner's brand corsets, die-cut with an illustration a winged putto taking a nap in a corset on one side, and water lilies on the other side. Inside, Die-cut, chromolithographed bifolium card measuring approx. 5.75" by 3" Very good. Light dust soiling.
