England: 1870s. A nicely designed 16mo greeting card, made from embossed coated stock adorned with gold and printed in color. In the center oval, an embossed image depicts four spring crocuses with a pink banner below reading "A Joyful New Year". Coated paper. Measures approx. 3.75" by 2.5" Very good. Light dust soiling, surface scratches and abrasions to front.
