[Boston, Massachusetts]: Fairbanks & Beard, 1858. Illustrated billhead for Fairbanks & Beard, dealers in "Mineral and Soda Waters, Porter, Ale, Cider, and Brown Stout". Made out in ink to a Mr. Wm. Almey for the sale of soda water, dated Feb 28th, 1858. The billhead depicts the famous Howard Athenaeum building, also known as the Old Howard Theatre, one of the most popular theaters in Boston and the site where Fairbanks & Beard operated out of. Measures approx. 4" by 7.75", verso blank but with some ink ms. notes. Near-fine.
