England: 1860s. A sweet 16mo valentine made from embossed paper bifolium, die-cut victorian scrap, and a decorative lithographed poem scrap that reads, "When to ladyhood, My friend, you grow, Pray don't forget Your little beau". Measures approx. 3.75" by 2.75" Very good. Toning, light water stain to right-hand edge.
