Hand-colored Lithograph Valentine Poem

England: 1850s. Hand-colored lithographed 4to-sized bifolium Valentine (8.5" by 6.75"), with a three-stanza Valentine's Day poem underneath an image of a young couple. The couple are depicted in a drawing room, with the gentleman seated and showing his love a book with love hearts in it. The poem begins, "Faithful hearts should thus entwine, Dearest, thus, like thine and mine, Kindred fancies, soft revealings, All of love's most chosen feelings..." Handcolored lithograph. Very good. Toned, light dust soiling.
