Handmade Card - Cut-out Elephant Front Cover Captioned "Siam"

The Rattanakosin Kingdom, traditional centre of power in the history of Thailand (or Siam). It was founded in 1782 with the establishment of Bangkok as the capital city.

Outside Bangkok, the Presbytery opened a Mission Station in Phetchaburi in 1861

In 1898, The Phitsanulok municipal market moved up the Wang Thong River from Ban Sam Ruen to Ban Wang Thong as the upriver portions of the province became more and more developed.

c1900. A 3" x 5" top fold card. The front cover is cut in the shape of an elephant with it's trunk pointing downward It is captioned Siam. A yellow ribbon at top adorns the elephant. The inside page lists the following:
