c1880. 15" x 12" Bristolboard card with The Old Oaken Bucket done in fine calligraphy. The caption at top reads "To Messrs Doherty Bros. Respectfully Inscribed. A pen and ink drawing of a young boy dropping the oaken bucket into the well with gilt border. Elaborate floral border decoration. A charming putto at the base bearing a banner reading "In remembrance of our home. "Executed by John C. Crowley Boston with Pen and Ink at base. Reverse is blank.
