c.1909 "Hydro-Carbonite" Roof and Exterior Paint Circular

Cleveland, Ohio: The Monarch Paint Company, c.1909. A printed circular for "Hydro-Carbonite" brand paint, marketed as "Perfect Protection at lowest cost for roofs of all kinds, bridges, factories, smokestacks, warehouses, and all outside surfaces exposed to weather". Touts it as anti-rust, non-porous,fire resistant, and "acid proof". Includes lengthier pitch inside, and faux contract with the U.S. Navy on the back. Illustration of Monarch Paint Co. manufacturing plant on front. Illus. bifolium (9" by 6"). Good to very good. Light toning, letter folds, a couple nicks. Larger nick to foot of first leaf, no content loss. Surface wear/staining from previous sticker adhesive to front.
