Held yearly in the first week of April, the multi-day event was formed as a direct response to the Booker T. Washington's 1914 research showing the public health crisis facing Black communities in America. Access to quality healthcare was scarce at best, and confidence among Black communities in medical professionals was extraordinarily low. The present lecture offers attendees a broad overview of Syphilis, including its history, cause, and dangers. Printed bifolium (8" by 6"). Near-fine. Minor toning.
