"What of Lawful Birth Control" - Sex Education Booklet Penned by Jesuit Priest

"The Queen’s Work was founded by Jesuits of the Missouri Province, specifically at the bequest of Jesuit General Father, Francis Xavier Wernz, and the Missouri Province leadership in the persons of Alexander J. Burrowes and Edward Garesche, to provide a journal of national character which would [publish] articles of interest to all Catholics." (jesuitarchives.org).

N.pl: The Queen's Work, 1951. A sex education booklet penned by a Jesuit Priest in the interest of reinforcing Catholic morals in America's young people. Told in a narrative format, it tells the story of a set of twins who come to their local priest asking about the Catholic Church's recent approval of the "rhythm method" of birth control, and the morality of contraception. By the end, of course, all parties have become aware of their duties as good married Catholics to procreate and reject birth control. Twenty-fifth printing. Single vol. (6" by 3.25"), pp. 32, in original illus. wrps with image of young lady and and young man on front, eagerly listening to their religious leader (out of frame). Very good. Light toning, rubbing.
