Advertising ephemera for an early 1950's product that promises to improve the bust line, manufactured by a company based in-- you guessed it-- Hollywood, California. The product itself appears to be a kind of suction cup device, and the company promises that it will address the following issues: underdevelopment; post-breast feeding changes; and sagging. Includes "before and after" photos and testimonials from happy customers. The three (3) items are:
"Did You See These? About Lady Bountiful News". Illus. bifolium (11" by 8.5"). Faux newspaper lauding the product, with before and after photos inside.
"Lady Bountiful" Advertising Letter Circular. Printed bifolium (11" by 8.5") in style of a sales pitch letter with testimonials inside.
"The Story of Lady Bountiful". Single vol. (10.75" by 8.25"), pp. [8], illus., in original illus. wrps with image of Venus de Milo on front. Includes sales pitch, before and after photos, pricing and illustration of the product. Very good to near-fine. Minor edge toning.
