Engineered "based on the findings of the United States Government National Deafness Survey", the device used radio wave technology to amplify sound waves to the user with built-in volume control and an ear mold for comfort. Includes a diagram for proper setup, and tips for remedying problems with the device. A fascinating look into hearing aid technology in the 1940s. Single vol. (4.25" by 4.5"), pp. 20, illus., in original printed red and black wrps. Ink stamps. Very good. Minor wear to extremities, light dust soiling.
