Engineered "based on the findings of the United States Government National Deafness Survey", the device used radio wave technology to amplify sound waves to the user with built-in volume control and an ear mold for comfort. Includes a diagram for proper setup, and tips for remedying problems with the device. A fascinating look into hearing aid technology in the 1940s. Single vol.
