N.pl: N.p, 1920s. An early 20th-century reprint of an 1840s letter writer originally published by A.J. Wright in Boston. Includes exemplar letters applicable to a wide variety of situations, mostly to do with matters of the heart. Includes a longer sections in the back with advice for "popping the question" and "rules of politeness", and concludes with a brief "language of gems" section. Single vol. (6" by 3.75"), pp. 54, [2], stapled in original printed self wrps. Very good. Toning with some staining to edges, a couple short tears.
