Advertising Leaflet for the "Relaxacizor"
N.pl: Relaxacizor, Inc, c.1950. A printed leaflet advertising the "Relaxacizor", a dubious electronic device marketed to women as a quick way to a slim figure at home with "no effort, no diet" and no tiresome exercising. The device itself is photo-illustrated beside a smiling blonde woman and appears to be a kind of electronic in a briefcase that can be applied to problem areas to reduce while reading, sewing, or sleeping. Also includes a photo of a smiling "Miss Oakland" for the year 1949, and several of other celebrities on the back in swimsuits. Photo-illus. bifolium printed on pink paper (12.25" by 9"). Very good. Short tear to first leaf along horizontal crease, no text loss.
