The content of the booklet includes: a brief history of laundering and washing machines; how modern machines work; how to begin the washing; when to use bluing, bleach, and starch; wringing; instructions for washing specific garments; ironing; and stain removal, organized by stain type (e.g. dye, butter, ink, or lipstick). Single vol. (8.75" by 5.75"), pp. 43, [3], in original printed wrps. Very good. Light dust soiling, water or ink stains to wrappers. Internally crisp.
