1930s Printed Notice for American Tourists in Havana
Havana, Cuba: Rafael Carrera, Chief of Police, 1930. A printed notice addressed to (American) tourists in Havana, welcoming them to Cuba and warning them against taking taxis driven by drivers who refuse to show their badge. Notes that English-speaking police officers wear "a special uniform of Prussian blue and white cap" for easy identification on the street. Measures approx. 11" by 8.5" Very good. Letter folds, toning, a couple nicks. Sunned on back.
