Fee Bill of the Merrimack County Bar
Concord, New Hampshire: McFarland & Jenks, Printers, 1864. A printed broadside notifying the public of recent changes to the local bar association's fee structure, with a manicule at the foot pointing to a notice that reads, "The above charges to be the LEAST that shall be taken except in cases of poverty or other mitigating circumstances ... and any departure from this rule shall be followed by expulsion from the Bar." Measures approx. 14.25" by 10.5", appears to have been sometime trimmed. Very good. Light toning, some nicks/minor short tears to extremities.
