Celluloid Magic Trick - Guess the Number
Lancaster, Pennsylvania: M-M-A, Inc., c.1910. A whimsical guessing game produced for M-M-A, Inc., a Lancaster-based manufacturer of industrial tools and air-operated vacuum cleaners. To play, one asks a friend to choose a number between one and sixty; then, using basic arithmetic and the cards provided, the player is able to guess the number: "It works everytime -- TRY IT". The quirky slogan "For the unusual" is printed on each card and the envelope.
Seven (7) coated cards each measuring 2" by 3.25" printed in red and black, contained in the original printed envelope measuring 2.5" by 3.5" Very good to near-fine. The barest dust soiling/rubbing to cards, envelope a little worn with some short tears.
