"Don't Monkey with my Heart" -- Swinging Monkey Valentine

United States: 1920s. An attractive novelty valentine depicting a monkey swinging on a swing with the caption "Don't Monkey with my Heart. The die-cut monkey is attached to the card with two yellow strings, allowing the monkey to swing within the paper cage. Flowers surround the card. Measures approx. 6.25" by 6" lying flat. Early pencil inscription to verso ("To Harl[?] from Wayne"). Good. Toning, light dust soiling, water staining, two panels of cage detached.
