N.pl: NBC, 1961. A commemorative booklet published to celebrate the March 2, 1961 television special on NBC, "25 Years of LIFE Starring Bob Hope". The booklet begins with an order of events, including an opening by Bob Hope, ballet, a feature on the American Family, and ending with a greeting from J.F.K. The remainder of the booklet includes a year-by-year survey of important news stories from around the world covered by LIFE, with large in-text photo illustrations. The events range from the death of King George V in 1936, all the way to "the globe-girdling voyage of the Triton" on 1960. Single vol. (11.25" by 8.75"), pp. [32], illus., in original illus. embossed wrps with "25 Years of Life" stamped in red and black on the front. Very good. Light dust soiling.
