Washington, D.C. United States Treasury, c.1930. Printed memorandum with ink stamp or auto-pen signature of John Burke, the Treasurer of the United States between 1929 and 1931. The memo announces that "the various issues of Continental Currency" has "no money value, even if the notes be genuine". By the Act of December 31 1797. Measures approx. 3.5" by 8", verso blank. Fair. Dust soiling, short tears.
