Artcote Papers was founded in the early 1900s and produced metallic papers and card stock for packaging, graphic arts, and marketing materials.
Irvington, N.J. Artcote Papers, Inc., 1940s-50s. A mid-century salesman's sample book with eighteen (18) samples of gold and silver papers produced by Artcote Papers, Inc. of Philadelphia. Each sample is labeled with order number, weight or other identifier (e.g. "heavy", "gummed"), and trimmed size. Would most likely have been used for sales or trade catalogues, or like marketing ephemera. Single vol. (3.5" by 7.75"), 18 leaves of metallic coated paper with thick metallic cover embossed with logo on front, bound with cloth in upper margin. Very good. Light dust soiling.Price: $200.00
