The Swinging Schottisch
New York, New York: Horace Waters, 1858. Attractive late 1850s sheet music for the pianoforte, dedicated to "Miss Helen Taylor" on the title-page and featuring a sweet chromolithographed illustration of three children playing outdoors by a lake on the front. The schottische is a type of country dance popular in the Victorian era. Single vol. (13.5" by 10.5"), pp. 5, [1], in original illus. self wrps, sometime disbound. Good. Toning, spotting, dust soiling, sometime disbound.
