The Young Ladies' Literary and Missionary Association was affiliated with the New Hampton Female Seminary, and flourished in the 1850s. It served as a place for young Christian women to share their love of literature and history.

Printed program for the 1858 Public Exercises of the Young Ladies' Literary and Missionary Association, including music, recitations, and what appears to be a very charming theatrical titled "Scenes in the Life of Elizabeth of England; a Historical Drama”, starring the young ladies. Lithographed bifolium (8.25” by 5”). Good. Toned, short tears, chipping. A couple spots.
