A.L. Scovill & Co. published almanacs to market their wares, and list them on this bill of sale.
New York, New York: A.L. Scovill & Co., 1877. Lithographed bill of medicine filled out in ink manuscript, detailing the sale of medicines to a Mr. E.A. Brown. Lists over a dozen of Scovill's most popular medicines, ranging from "Dr. Baker's Pan Panacea" to "Prof. Dale's Persian Horse and Cattle Powder". Note the inclusion of rat poison ("Dr. Bennett's Sure Death of Rats"); poisons would have been supplied by pharmacists at this time.
