Middlefield, Connecticut: Dainty Maid Inc., 1946-1953. Two (2) items advertising feminine hygiene products by Dainty Maid Inc., makers of the "Daintette" menstrual cup and Dainty Maid brand douche and powder. Provides a window into how companied marketed these products to American women in the late 1940s and early 1950s, emphasizing "cleanliness", "freedom", "discretion", and "charm". Note the elegant women illustrated in the ads, including the woman on the front of the menstrual cup advert exclaiming with her hands aloft, "At last! New Freedom!". The items are:

"At Last! New Freedom!" Middlefield: Dainty Maid Inc., 1946. Folding pamphlet (5.5" by 3.5" folded), illustrated. Ink stamp of sales agent to back.

"The Secret of Charm". Middlefield: Dainty Maid Inc., 1953. Folding pamphlet (5" by 3.75" folded), illustrated. Ball point ink note (perhaps phone number of sales agent) on back. Very good. Some toning.
