Aleppo Shriners - 1922 Meeting and Annual Outing Two-Sided Promotional Poster

Aleppo Shriners were founded in 1883, and still operate today out of Wilmington, Massachusetts. The organization is described on their website as being "based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth and relief"

Boston, Massachusetts: Aleppo Temple, 1922. An early 1920's poster advertising a meeting and annual outing for the Aleppo Shriners. The printed poster (26.25" by 11") contains information about the events on the front along with humorous cartoons; on the back, it features a large panorama printed in yellow and black that appears to depict Shriners in the Egyptian desert undergoing different forms of torture (?). Good. Toned and water stained with some creasing, minor nicks to extremities. Penciled notes to foot of recto.
