King's Lynn, Norfolk, England: Printed by Ann Turner, 1838. Printed poster promoting the sale of two pews from St Margaret's Church in King's Lynn, England, a church founded in 1100 and known as King's Lynn Minster since 2011. Measures 15" by 9.5". On verso, in contemporary ink, is the following inscription: "I agree to purchase the within Pew No. 16 at the price of One hundred and forty five pounds dated the 5th day of May 1838". It is signed by "William Creak", a local linen and woolen draper. Very good to fine.
