Spitalfields [London]: Taylor. A moralistic tale disguised as a humorous tale about a soldier caught playing cards in church, only to be caught by his superior; in order to evade punishment, the soldier spins a story about how each playing card teaches him a different bible story.
Single leaf (11" by 8.5") printed on recto only, blue paper, with typographical ornaments. Queen of diamonds playing card pasted to center of leaf. Reverse blank. Very good. Edges toned. Minor wrinkling to paper where playing card pasted on, minor staining to verso from paste.
