Early IBM Memoranda

New York, New York: International Business Machines Corporation, 1939-1940. Two (2) early IBM memoranda, dated 1939 and 1940, on company letterhead specific to the Electric Accounting Machine Division. The first, "Commercial Research Bulletin # 32-A", consists of 9 leaves of typewritten instructions for how to operate the Alphabetic Accounting Machine, with accompanying large folding printed diagram. The second, "Commercial Research Bulletin No. 50A", consists of 5 leaves of typewritten instructions for operating the Type 313 Summary Punching Reproducer, followed by 7 leaves of printed diagrams.

Each is typewritten on blue paper measuring 11" by 8.5" with three hole punch to left-hand margin. Printed on rectos only. Foliated. Very good to fine. Light sunning to edges.
