Decatur, Illinois: Bartholomew & Judy, 1892. An early 1890s circular and price list for "Felch Pedigreed Light Brahmas", a type of fowl, sold by H.W. Bartholomew and Mrs. R.A. Judy of Decatur, Illinois. Includes a large illustration of one of their prize-winning cocks on the front, and glowing recommendations inside: "[The chickens] stand to-day without a peer, as to lineage, purity of blood, beauty, style, high scores and utility". Includes a list of wins by the chickens, as well as testimonials and prices. On the back is a handwritten letter from the woman co-owner Mrs. R.A. Judy pitching the chickens to a prospective customer. Illus. bifolium (9.5" by 6.25"). Very good. Light toning, letter folds, a couple minor short tears/nicks.
