The first entry from a male friend concludes with "when this you see Remember me". All entries written inverse and with sentiments of friendship and love, including entries from here sisters Mary and Sally. One entry from John M. Kinne who is bidding Nancy farewell "so you and I must part..." Concludes with an acrostic and a note to "My Friend" that concludes "But may I speak a word or twoConcerning what I think of you
