Flemington, New Jersey: N.p, c.1880. A simple yet attractive and effective advertising card for a basket factory in Flemington, New Jersey. Includes a lithographed image of the factory in motion, with smoke billowing from the stack and a train rolling by on a track, emphasizing the efficient and modern character of the enterprise. The baskets were used for peaches. Eventually, it was transformed into a glass factory, before being demolished in 2015. Measures approx. 6" by 6.5" Very good. Light toning and spotting, discoloration from adhesive to verso.
