1840s Lined Letterhead with Hand-colored Etching of Twin Girls

England: 1840s. Lined letterhead bifolium (11.25" by 9") with a small 2.75" by 4.75" oval cut-out of a hand-colored etching. The etching depicts a pair of young women dressed identically (presumably twins, teenaged girls?) in red coats, blue skirts, straw hats, and parasols. The letterhead has been embossed with a delicate floral border around the oval and the edges of the bifolium. It has not been used. Very good. Light toning, dust soiling. Modern ink dates to verso.
