A complete example of a double-sided "Dissected Puzzle Map", offering young ones the opportunity to learn about geography through interactive play. When completed, a map of the United States is revealed with geography trivia questions at the bottom. Each puzzle piece is made from thick wood cut into the shape of each state with a printed illustration on top, varnished to protect and shine. The puzzle is double-sided, with the verso depicting a world map surrounded by illustrations of different natural settings around the world. Measures approx. 11.5" by 17.5" completed. Housed in later box; lacks original publisher's box. Good to very good. Light dust soiling and surface wear to pieces. Lacks original publisher's box. Some damage to green border around puzzle.
