A short magazine style booklet provided by the US Postal Service to libraries or individuals in more rural locations. On the front cover it states, "A handbook of accurate information concerning the Postal Service, particularly compiled for rural mail patrons coming to you direct from the National Capitol in Washington D. C., and well meriting a place in your library." It contains a variety of different information on current postal rates, and short biographical information on postal employees such as the Postmaster General and First Asst. Postmaster General. Additionally, it contains well over a dozen articles, such as: 'Rural Patrols Obligations Regarding Mail Boxes Are Most Reasonable', 'Bogus Rye and Silk Swindle Defraud Public', 'Parcel Post System Inaugurated for Farmer, Why Doesn't He Use It?', and 'Salary of Rural Carrier Suffers in Comparison with that of Other Workers'. There are approximately twenty-two (22) black and white images from photographs throughout. The covers are mostly printed in red, with the front showing a holiday scene of Santa delivering letters and presents. The back cover has a holiday message, and eleven (11) printed photographs of postal carriers at work throughout the country. 19 pgs. Illustrated wrappers. OCLC 0 (Jan. 2021). Measures 11 1/2" x 8 1/2".
