Engraving of the steer on the titled page with heavily embossed gilt 'Dinner - Roast Beef Club Philadelphia". Each of the menu courses that parenthetically do not include roast beef is followed by a relevant verse. The final page lists members and a Roast Beef Musing for the guests. It begins "Gentlemen, we warlmly greet you, And extend the welcome hand... This menu is for Mr. Sweeny; one of the guests. Measures 6 3/4" x 5 3/8" Some discoloration on cover otherwise fine.
