The Donkey Party Game ( "Pin the Tail on the Donkey")

New York, New York: McLoughlin Bros, 1901. The classic children's party game "Pin the Tail on the Donkey", here titled "The Donkey Party Game". Produced by McLoughlin Bros. in 1901, the aim is for each party guest to pin a tail on an illustration of a donkey in the correct place, while blindfolded. This set includes: 21 numbered printed canvas donkey tails, each approx. 8.5" by 1.5"; one canvas sheet printed in black and red with a donkey (approx. 24" by 24"); and six pins. Very good. N.B. this set should have 22 donkey tails; it is missing tail number "12". Several pins are missing as well.
