Revolutionary Calendar Dedicated to the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution Issued under the Auspices of the New York City Chapter DAR - 13 Seals of the 13 Original States

Coated stock die-cut in the shape of a shields, each presenting one calendar month accompanied by a chromolithograph depiction of the seal of one of the thirteen original states. The states appear in the order they ratified the Constitution beginning with the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation on the title page. The reverse includes a table of the Revolutionary War patriotic holidays--each date is highlighted in red on the monthly calendars. they include the Battle of Cowpens,Fort Moultrie, Battle of King's Mountain, Surrender of Lord Cornwallis, the Battle of Trenton and many others. Each leaf depicts the Great Seal of the United Sates Cover and title page plus twelve calendar months. Measures 10" x 8 1/2" Wear to cover. String tie replaced.
