An expansive 1930s letter writer with examples appropriate for a myriad of situations, including: "To Collect a Debt"; "To Write a Letter to a Servant"; "Invitation to a Christening"; "Asking a Lover to Wait"; and even "Breaking an Engagement" (which begins quite bluntly: "Our engagement has been a terrible mistake."). Also includes general guidance for grammar, diction, etc. The writer was intended "For Distribution Through the Newspapers Presented by Frederic J. Haskin"; this particular copy has an ink stamp noting that it was "Circulated by The Harrisburg Patriot".
