The Bellevue-Stratford was considered the cultural and social heart of the city in the early years of the twentieth century, and was often the site of the most important society balls and events. It hosted Presidents, celebrities, and society's elite.

Illustrated program for a vocal concert given at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia by Elsie Baker Linn (Alto) and Edward Shippen Van Leer (Tenor), accompanied by Clarence K. Bawden at the piano. Composers performed include Quintan, Beach, Campana, Sullivan, and a folk song. Measures 4.75" by 3.75"; illustration of the hotel on the recto. Very good to fine; some dust soiling, remains of previous adhesive to verso.
