An 8 1/4" x 4 3/8" heavy card stock easel back valentine.  It depicts a rebus verse with applied Dresden type die-cuts scraps of household items as the objects of the rebus. The girl above is an illustration of a sweet faced shy girl attributed to Frances Brundage.  The rebus verse reads Ihave a PAN and a SPOON, I have a baking SHEET, followed by the remainder of the verse, reading So now I'm ready very soon To have a little man.  So please do not this decline But promptly be my Valentine.  The Sadie Hawkins approach of the girl approaching the boy.  Reverse marked "G" Raphael Tuck & Sons.... Printed in Germany.  Condition: overall excellent.  Light patina on Dresdens. This valentine has a little bit of everything...
