|A 2 3/4" in diameter painted decorated trinket box.  The entire box is painted black.  The removable top is paint decorated in blue, yellow, red white wiht gold stars.  For some reason some of the stars have been painted over.   Appears to be from the 1870s.  Condition: light wear; nice patina.
