An 8 ¼” x 6 3/4" die-cut, easel back valentine with applied parchment with gilt floral design held in place with rivets. The background has a center heart design with an applied embossed flower pixie girl wearing a bonnet. She is surrounded with purple and yellow pansies.  The sentiment reads, ‘May this give a pledge to thee And speak in silence Love from me.’ Art Nouveau Influenced design. Condition is excellent. Reverse has small pencil inscription.
