valentine, also known as Penny Dreadfuls or Vinegar Valentines. It was most likely published by McLoughlin c1900
and illustrated by Charles Howard. It is
captioned "A Pick-Pocket" and has a rather demeaning verse. It depicts a woman’s hand reaching into the
pocket of a gentleman’s unoccupied trousers. Light wear. Strong color.
