| A set of five (5) die-cut paper dolls with ten (10) costumes and three (3) hats. It is the Hood's Family presented by the C.I. Hood & Co. Lowell, Massachusetts, 1894. Each doll and costume has printed advertisement on the reverse. The dolls and costumes are die-cut with the exception of the hats. This set is missing two of the girl's hats, but includes an additional costume and a printed advertising hat (cut-out vs. die-cut). The father measures 9 1/2" x 3 1/4". Nice advertising set. Condition: mother has neck repair. Father also has light neck bend and toning on reverse. One of the girls has a light neck bend. Father has "home made" stands. No stands with the children. Includes original envelope displaying image of the family. Overall excellent set. |
