| A novel toy, a cap cane, 25" in length, with a slot at bottom for inserting a cap. Tap the cane on a hard surface to explode the cap. Covered in red, white and blue paper litho, and having a red, wood, ball for a cane top, it could well have been produced for the fourth of July. Made by the Universal Fireworks Company of Brooklyn, New York, it has a 1940 patent date. Condition: mechanism works; minor age toning, soiling, staining in spots, on the paper; few tiny nicks at paper edges. Otherwise VG. We have two of these. |
