An excellent album of 68 albumen photographs, late 19th century, of Egyptian Ruins, the Suez Canal, the cities of Port Said and Suez, etc. Many extraordinary views. Nineteen (19) views have the Beato name, 26 others are by Zangaki. The remainder are unsigned, perhaps by these photographers. We show 31 views, (views measure approximately 8" X 10 ½"). Condition: cover missing spine; wear at covers' corners, edges; stain at lower left corner, inside front cover; front free endpaper is loose; there are margin tears on 13 pages, none of which affect photographs; one page is loose and has a rough outer (fore) edge. Only one photo has any damage, that being a small nick off its lower left corner. Some (at least three) photos are missing, having been removed at one time or another. Otherwise VG, the album measures 12 ½" X 16".
