Well illustrated catalog of the standard stallions Mambrino Wilkes, Steele, Diomed Wilkes and Jingles, owned by John B. Clarke of Manchester, New Hampshire, prepared for the season of 1889.  The 17 illustrations represent the different families with which these horses are connected.  With 34 pages of descriptive text, four foldouts with lineage of the four stallions.  Condition:  water staining, on covers, and on many pages (most in borders).  Covers lightly soiled, with minor damage at bottom of backstrip.  Otherwise VG.
